Shore Power Checklist
Check outlet, breaker, and drop/extension cord to make sure power is being supplied to SmartPTO’s charger inlet
Charge extension connector not connected
Charge Extension Connected
Make sure the charge extension connector is properly connected at the bulkhead on the back of the SmartPTO main enclosure
SmartPTO battery stuck in long-term-storage mode
Stuck In Storage Mode
Check BMS and/or MBB logs with the Zero Motorcycle diagnostic tool & dealer utility
Failed charger
Failed Charger Errors
Check the Charger status bits and error codes in IQAN Run
Failed charger extension cord or inlet receptacle
Failed Charger Cord or Receptacle
Check the charger inlet (vehicle-side) for thermal damage to the leads, and inspect the the backshell of the inlet to make sure the wire is still connected and isn’t being over-stressed.
Charger wiring disconnected or damaged (inside SmartPTO box)
Damaged Charger Wires
Check to make sure the charger wires inside SmartPTO are connected and undamaged
Battery cell temperature is below the charging threshold
Battery Temperature Low
Turn SmartPTO on and check battery temperature using the touchscreen display or telematics
