Corrective Actions & Additional Info
Try to charge the system with the level 1 charger (NEMA 5-15). If the system starts to charge for a short period and them abruptly stops charging (especially if the SOC is ~ 60%), it is likely stuck in LTS mode. In that case, press and hold each battery reset button for 5 seconds (see procedure in “BMS Reset” tab) to exit LTS mode. If that doesn’t work, contact Viatec Technical Support for further assistance
Storing the battery at high SOC for prolonged periods of time can shorten the battery’s life. To mitigate this issue, the system will go into LTS mode after 30 days of inactivity. Once in LTS mode, the system will force discharge the battery to below 60% SOC. The system should revive when powered on, but it can potentially get stuck in LTS mode.
