Corrective Actions & Additional Info

If SmartPTO battery SOC is above 79V, the system may have gone into hybernation mode to protect itself against over-discharge. In that case, the battery may be revived by pressing and holding each of the BMS reset buttons ,located on the side of the battery pack, for 5 seconds. If the battery wakes up, it must be plugged in to charge immediately. See detailed instruction in the “BMS Reset” tab of this workbook. If the battery voltage is below 79V, the battery will likely need to be replaced. Contact Viatec Technical Support for assistance

Note: If the the pack voltage is above 79V and the reset operation does not work, contact Viatec Technical Support for assistance. Pack revival is actually limited by the lowest individual cell voltage, so it is possible for the pack voltage to be above 79V and still have individual cell voltages that prevent revivial. Pack voltage is a reasonable proxy value to use, when individual cell voltage is unavailable.
