If “Cycle Key” message is shown on the display screen, make sure to cycle the key to the “on” position.

The truck’s ECU will often continue broadcasting CAN messages for up to a minute after the key has ben cycled to the “off” position. During that time, SmartPTO will be able to operate normally. Once the messages stop broadcasting, SmartPTO will stop working. It’s not uncommon for people to “get lost” in the key cycle when switching from the truck’s PTO pump to SmartPTO.
