Evaluate Possible Causes

eAC not enabled in SmartPTO software

Check to make sure eAC is enabled in the IQAN software

Problem with electrical wiring and/or connectors

Electrical Wiring Problem
Check to make sure backlight on the eAC cab switch lights up when the switch is turned on. Check the extension wire and connectors between the SmartPTO connector bulkhead plate and eCoolPark to make sure the connectors are properly secured and the wire is free from damage.

Failed eAC DC-DC converters

eAC Export Voltage
With SmartPTO on, measure the eAC export voltage at the eAC bulkhead connector by probing the +V and -V terminals with a multimeter set to read DCV. Refer to “eAC export Voltage Test” – available upon request.

Failed eAC contactor

eAC Contactor Voltage Test
With SmartPTO on, test the voltage at the harness side of the eAC DC-DC converters by probing the “+IN” and “-IN” terminals with a multimeter set to measure DC voltage. The voltage measured across those pins should be ~ 100VDC – Follow the procedure defined in the “eAC Contactor Voltage Test” – available upon request.
