SmartPTO export power extension not connected
Export Power Extension Connector
Check to make sure the export power extension connector is properly connected to the bulkhead connector on the back of SmartPTO – See “Bulkhead Connectors” Tab of this workbook for details about the bulkhead connectors
Export power DC-DC converter failure
Export power DC-DC converter failure
With SmartPTO on, test the voltage at the export power bulkhead connector following the instructions provided in the “Exp Power Voltage Test” tab of this workbook.
Export Power contactor failure
Export Power Contactor Failure
With SmartPTO on, test the voltage at the harness side of the export power DC-DC converters by probing the “+IN” and “-IN” terminals with a multimeter set to measure DC voltage. The voltage measured across those pins should be ~ 100VDC – Follow the procedure defined in the “Exp Contactor Voltage Test” tab of this workbook
Working load requirements are too high for SmartPTO’s export power capability
Workload too high
If possible, measure current supplied from the truck battery to keep lights, blower, radio, inverter, etc running.
